Tours and lectures

I currently give public/private lectures, gallery tours and workshops at the National Portrait Gallery and run primary & secondary school workshops and teacher Inset sessions at the Wallace Collection. These sessions include portraiture, myths, children & families in the past, looking at armour, landscapes & seascapes, an introduction to the collection. For GCSE, 'A' level students & adults I teach life drawing, watercolour, oil & acrylic painting.

Private tours can also be booked according to your specific needs and requirements. You may wish to have an evening or weekend tour for staff or students, friends or family.

I give PowerPoint presentations as a starting point for practical/ historical workshops. Or can meet at a gallery for a private tour with an introduction to the Collection - Highlights tours. I frequently visit schools & colleges to purse projects for Arts Week & to deliver workshops introducing techniques to staff & students.
